Counselling
From our Runda office we offer non residential out patient therapy sessions for young people who have behavioral problems, substance abuse experimentation and Substance abuse Disorder after care services

Short term retreats
Running independently or alongside the outpatient sessions are intense weekends or one week retreats during school holidays the focus on life skills.
1. For children between 11 and 13 we focus on their role undertake duties for themselves such as their own cleanliness, Make their beds, laundry, Cook light meals etc.
2. For children between 13 and 17 we teach them how to take care of themselves and support the family with roles such cook for themselves and the family, do laundry for themselves and the family; undertake agricultural activities, start managing money etc.
3. For young men between 18-25 we teach them how to run a household on a budget of 300 KES a day.

School outreach programmes
We support schools develop subsistence abuse prevention programmes. We also have seminars for teachers and parents on mental health of young people.

Parents chat
We create a forum for parents of young people to have a chat amongst themselves or with young people. This may help parents learn what young people want, separate what are mental health problems and normal growth issues and reduce the tendency to pathologize normal teen behaviors.
