ICY WELL AdultCare
A normal household consists of young people and adults. ICY WELL has an adult care programAge-specific that focuses on healing the underlying conditions that are causing adults to use drugs and alcohol. ICY WELL does this by utilizing a highly individualized treatment program with therapists who are experienced in healing the underlying causes of addiction. Our treatment philosophy chooses to empower you and heal your underlying conditions.
As a client at ICY WELL AdultCare program, you will have the opportunity to fully immerse yourself into a life-changing healing experience, unlike anything else. Imagine for a minute a cleansing sanctuary where the past can forever be the past, and the future feels bright and hopeful. When you arrive at the ICYWELL campus for substance use treatment, you will undergo a medical evaluation to prepare you for thorough detoxification and a comprehensive, holistic treatment program schedule. It is our priority that your safety and comfort remain at the forefront of your healing process. Our staff is here 24/7 to assist you throughout your stay with us.
Detox
Many people detoxing from drugs and alcohol will feel the symptoms of withdrawal. At ICYWELL, we take a careful approach to ensure that your detox experience is as comfortable as possible through the use of medications. Our team of medical practitioners are available every step of the way. You can feel confident knowing that you are in good hands as your body rids itself of harmful toxins, and you regain stable physical health. In most cases, detox can take up to one or two weeks, depending on the length and amount of substance abuse.
Residential treatment
While you heal your mind, body and spirit at ICY WELL, you can enjoy the many luxurious accommodations we have to offer. Live and breathe free, far away from judgment and shame. Your daily schedule during your stay at ICYWELL will include a variety of holistic therapy methods that will help you discover and heal the underlying conditions to your substance abuse related issues. Finally, feel at peace, knowing you have arrived at the right place surrounded by people who are here to help you break free from addiction.
Aftercare
Your treatment at ICY WELL is only the beginning of your sober journey. It does not necessarily end at graduation from our acute care program. We urge you to continue what we have taught you through treatment so that you can experience lasting sobriety. A proper aftercare plan is crucial in making that become a reality for you. Many people wish to have a sober coach or a sober living environment after treatment which is something we can assist you with during your Continuing Care session at ICY WELL. The aftercare programme will start in the campus and may last 9 months. During this period you will have access to work through what the digital age has made possible. You can have zoom meetings at the comfort of your room. During this aftercare programme you will be supported as you are gradually exposed to your triggers. Through gradual de-sensitization, we will walk with you as we practically coach you on how to manage the triggers. The alternative is join the cycle of entry and exit into acute care programmes that has no ending.
During your aftercare program stay, you will have weekly individual meetings with our Continuing Care Specialist to help you build an outside support system and a team of specialists who can expand on what you have already experienced here at ICY WELL. We will provide you with a comprehensive list of resources that you can rely on after graduating from our Adultcare aftercare program. Our Continuing Care staff then continues to follow up on your journey and can help connect you to alumni resources after completing our program to ensure that you are still a part of the ICY WELL community.
